Recently opened via on the south-west face of the Grostè peak; its continuous difficulties and excellent rock have made it a very popular via in just a few years.
- Service and guidance of a certified mountain guide for the whole duration of the experience
- Mountaineering equipment (harness, helmet, climbing-shoes)
Meeting at 8.30 a.m. at the departure of the Grostè cable car.
Briefing, equipment check and ascent with the cable car to the Stoppani refuge. From the Stoppani refuge we head along path O316 in the direction of the Tuckett refuge; after a short while we leave the path to climb towards the base of the south-west face of the Grostè peak. After the first length, not too demanding, the verticality grows, as well as the difficulties that will be continuous for about 300 meters, where the wall collapses. From this point we will soon reach the summit plateau of Grostè peak. From the summit, after the usual photo, we return to the normal route and in about an hour we reach the Stoppani refuge and then return by cable car.
