Madonna di Campiglio – Molveno ski touring crossing
A highly rewarding ski touring experience in a beautiful Dolomite environment. The ascent is not too long and the descent, facing east and generally on firn, make it one of the classic ski touring routes in the Brenta Dolomites.

Meeting at 8.30 a.m. at the start of the Grostè cable car, briefing and equipment check.
Ascent by cable car to the Stoppani refuge (Grostè pass): after having put on our alpine skis we will ascend in a south-easterly direction towards the Grostè peak, which we will go round to the left entering a plateau which we will cross to reach the Flavona pass, where we will find the cross. From this point begins the descent to the Vallazza pass and the Busa dell’Acqua, skiing down steep slopes in a wild environment to the Croz dell’Altissimo refuge and then along the road to Molveno.
