A classic excursion in one of the most beautiful and isolated valleys of the Brenta Group. Its morphology and exposure are perfectly suited to an excursion on alpine skis: the slopes are not too steep and the snow is almost always powdery, making this tour suitable even for those who do not have a very high level of skiing.
- Service and guidance of a certified mountain guide for the whole duration of the experience
- Teaching of various skiing and ski mountaineering techniques
- Teaching, if needed, of the use of equipment
- ARTVA if not provided
Meeting point at 8.30 a.m. at the Grostè cable car car park (1651m).
Briefing and material check.
Ascent on skis along an easy road to Mondifrà hut (1636m). From this point we take the Gelada valley and go up more or less in the centre until the Tre Sassi pass, the highest point which can be reached on skis. This itinerary is technically quite easy but rather strenuous, always in front of the great peaks of the northern part of the Brenta, such as Mondifrà peak, Corno di Flavona in the north and Vagliana peak in the south.
